The owners of a modern house discovered water in their loft a couple of years after moving in.  Mark from MS Surveys went along to investigate and found significant condensation during a cold day in December.  The membrane underlining beneath the roof tiles was not effective during freezing weather, resulting in excessive levels of moisture/condensation.  This had caused damage to many items stored in the loft.  Extra ventilation was recommended to the client.  A common problem with modern properties!
